Florida's only drive-through safari and walk-through amusement park invites you to spend the day on safari with over 800 animals. The adventure begins with an exciting 4.2-mile drive-through preserve featuring a thousand animals of a hundred species roaming free, often crossing the road and stopping your car. The animals do have the right-of-way!

Lion Country Safari opened in 1967 as America's first cageless zoo. A leader in wildlife education and preservation, Lion Country Safari provides a natural environment for rare and endangered animals, and enjoys particular breeding success with the African elephant, white rhinoceros and giraffe.

After your safari adventure, you will relax in Safari World, a tree-canopied walk-through park with Animal Demonstrations throughout the day, petting zoo, flying elephant ride, kiddie train ride, safari maze, Nature Walk, aviaries, Lory bird-feeding exhibit, boat tour, paddle boats. With all of the animal displays and encounters, animal feeding experiences, 7 rides, water sprayground, food, shopping and more, you are sure to have a memorable experience at Lion Country Safari.
