Ming Court embodies the art of authentic Oriental dining in a spectacular setting based on the centuries-old architecture of the Ming Dynasty–a period in Chinese history that spanned 276 years from 1368 to 1644. The Ming Dynasty was noted for its vast prosperity and extraordinary cultural contributions in the arts, philosophy and science. One of the world’s great wonders, the Great Wall, was completed during the Ming Dynasty. Ming Court's cooking styles are both old and new, or literally a combination of ancient and modern. Cuisine is prepared using authentic Chinese cooking styles: Peking, Taiwanese, Hong Kong, Canton, Hunan, Mandarin, Shanghai (Chiangehe), and Szechwan. Added to this are contemporary flavors and styles that emanate from other cultures from around the world–Japan, Korea, India, America, Italy, France, South Pacific and Latin America. The result is an innovative style that is both traditional and new–and uniquely Ming Court.
Established in 1989 by the Wu and Chen families, Ming Court sits on two acres surrounded by one of the most beautiful garden settings. Ming Court features an extraordinary selection of award-winning Dim Sum, Sushi, Wok and Char-Grill cuisine. Whether planning an intimate dining occasion overlooking the Koi pond and gardens, dining out with family and friends, or holding a private party, Ming Court will be one of those special places you and your guests will always remember.
