Theater of the Sea brings the natural wonders of the Florida Keys closer than you have ever dreamed possible. Our dolphins, sea lions and stingrays will amaze you with their friendliness and amuse you with their antics. Our 17 acres of lush tropical gardens are home to a variety of fish and other marine life, native birds, colorful and personable parrots, sea turtles and crocodilians, plus a spectacular living bouquet of native and exotic plants and orchids.

Your Theater of the Sea ticket includes live performances by our dolphins, sea lions and parrots, a guided tour of our marine life exhibits, mangrove forest and a trip through our natural saltwater lagoon in a bottomless boat. Performances are continuous–guests join the show currently in progress. Theater of the Sea is an educational and entertaining marine animal park, where shows are up close and personal and the animals live in natural salt-water lagoons. The lagoons and lush, tropical gardens at the facility are home to Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, California sea lions, sea turtles, tropical and game fish, sharks, stingrays, crocodiles, alligators, marine invertebrates, parrots, and birds-of-prey.

While some of our animals were collected and others were born here, many are unreleasable as a result of imprinting and/or injuries sustained in the wild. The health and well being of the animals takes precedence over all other interests, and their care and maintenance is supported by patronage alone.
